Preparing a workforce & supporting caregivers

We are enhancing the knowledge and skills of the child welfare workforce through a strong partnership with the Department of Child Safety (DCS) and allied community professionals to produce, deliver and evaluate training that improves child safety and well-being.

In coordination with a community board and contracted subject matter experts, the center acts in a lead capacity to produce, coordinate, deliver and evaluate new employee, specialized, and advanced training for the DCS staff and allied professionals.
