Preparing a workforce & supporting caregivers

We are enhancing the knowledge and skills of the child welfare workforce through a strong partnership with the Department of Child Safety (DCS) and allied community professionals to produce, deliver and evaluate training that improves child safety and well-being. 

In coordination with a community board and contracted subject matter experts, the center acts in a lead capacity to produce, coordinate, deliver and evaluate new employee, specialized, and advanced training for the DCS staff and allied professionals.

  • Instructional Design- Curricula development that's engaging & interactive, research-based & tailored to multidisciplinary audiences.
  • Online, In-Person & Hybrid Formats- Easily accessible training promoting immediately applicable knowledge and skills.
  • Learning Management System (LMS)- Robust LMS for administration, documentation, tracking & reporting with capability to deliver certificates, CEUs & certification programs.
  • Training Evaluation- Pre- & post-change management & impact assessment.
